                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES TO
                   ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH T & C
                   CONSTRUCTION COMPANY RELATIVE TO RENOVATION
                   OF THE AFRO-AMERICAN MUSEUM PORTION OF THE
                   BESSIE SMITH PROJECT, PHASE II, FOR A
                   CONSIDERATION OF EIGHTY-EIGHT THOUSAND,
                   EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT DOLLARS
                   ($88,868.00).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department
       of General Services be and is hereby authorized to enter into a
       contract with T & C Construction Company relative to renovation 
of
       the Afro-American Museum portion of the Bessie Smith Project,
       Phase II, for a consideration of $88,868.00.
